This is a just a small selection copied from their website - please check out all the reviews, you wont believe how bad they really are!

Utter fraudsters.
They sell an 8Tb USB storage which then proves itself unreliable, only to fail the most basic integrity tests. It turns out to be 40Gb instead. Refund obtained from Paypal without any issue, but avoid these GearTech at all costs.
The also trade as Balma LLC. AVOID.

Company is a scam - sends you faulty goods and then makes it very difficult/impossible to sort a return and get a refund. Thankfully I purchased on credit card so have been refunded via the bank, as the company stopped replying to my emails after making me jump through hoops to provide ‘evidence’ of the goods being faulty. Reported company to Trading Standards given all these reviews saying the same thing (which I hadn’t seen until after the issues arose). DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Absolutely appalling. Don’t read the google reviews they’re wrong as well!! Their returns policies are nothing more than a scam. After many emails to the AI robot, no chance of a return, just condescending replies and apologies. HOWEVER, they still have my money and will not refund. Equally the item was not as advertised and still no satisfaction. As many others I truly wish I’d read the true reviews on trust pilot. Scammers..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!

BUYER BEWARE!
I purchased in ear rechargable hearing aids from Gear Tech for my wife who on arrival of the items fifteen days after placing the order refused to use them, preferring to get NHS Hearing aids.
I contacted Gear Tech the same day they arrived on the 25th July 2025 and told them I wished to return them unopened and unused as they were no longer required. This was in compliance with the companies refund and return policy which states " To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in like new condition, and include all original packaging."
I was informed by gear tech customer services that it was the companies policy not to accept returns unless the items were faulty which I could not verify since the items were unused and unopened. This is in complete contradiction to their return policy displayed on their website.
They would not accept the items back and refused to refund my payment. I contacted PayPal and they were no help at all because the goods were delivered and that was that.
I would strongly advise prospective customers to not buy from this company, because they cannot be trusted. This company is only interested in getting your money and once they have it then you will not get it back even though they are breaking their own policy and also contravening the laws regarding consumer rights. But unless you can afford to sue them then they know they will get away with this deceit and fraud.
DO NOT BUY FROM GEAR TECH !

Terrible Customer Service /Rip Off.

Purchased a £150 drone and when it came it was faulty, after loads of videos wanted by GT they decided to replace, 6 weeks later still not here, have tracking number Yodel have said no parcel, now I have asked for refund and there best way to deal with a customer is to Ignore Them and never reply to emails or calls

Don’t ever trust this company !! Such a scam .. goods ship all the way from China , took 3 weeks.. when I contacted them try to stop it then they said too late.. on website says within 14days goods can be returned if unused .. however they refuse to return as said not faulty which is against consumer law!!! Not a genuine company applied to UK law , so avoid !!!
